The polarizing figure of Margaret Thatcher, Baroness Thatcher, caused controversy even at her funeral. Nicknamed The Iron Lady for her tough politics, the longest-serving British Prime Minister of the 20th century and the only woman to hold that post, passed away on 8th April 2013 dividing the country again between attributors of respect at her legend and those who publicly celebrated her death. She had a ceremonial funeral attended by the Queen, with full military honors, a guard of honor and a service at St Paul's Cathedral.
Thousands of people and the armed forces lined the streets of London through the funeral procession route.
